ViralHook is a creator workflow product that helps users generate YouTube titles, thumbnail text, descriptions, tags, hashtags, channel profile drafts, and related publishing suggestions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and how you can contact us about privacy requests.

Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as your email address, display name, authentication identifier, and basic account status. We may also process the content you provide to the product, including video topics, keywords, output language, video type, selected styles, channel profiles, audience notes, tone preferences, avoid-word lists, social link settings, generated results, saved history, and billing plan status.

We collect technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request timestamps, route names, request identifiers, rate-limit events, error logs, browser metadata, and approximate network information. We do not intentionally collect payment card numbers or full payment credentials.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide AI generation, personalize output around your channel profile, save your workspace, enforce subscription quotas, prevent abuse, debug production issues, maintain security, process payments, communicate service updates, and improve product quality. We may also use aggregated or de-identified usage patterns to understand which workflows are useful.

AI Processing

When you generate or refine content, the relevant prompt information may be sent to the configured AI provider so the provider can return titles, descriptions, tags, hashtags, thumbnail text, risk notes, or other creator packaging suggestions. You should avoid submitting sensitive personal information, confidential business information, private credentials, or content you do not have permission to process.

Service Providers

ViralHook may use Clerk for authentication, Supabase or PostgreSQL infrastructure for database storage, configured AI providers for generation, Dodo Payments for hosted checkout and subscription events, Vercel for hosting and logs, and other infrastructure vendors needed to operate the product. These providers process information only as needed for their role in delivering the service.

Payments

Paid plans are processed through a hosted payment provider. ViralHook receives subscription metadata such as plan tier, checkout status, provider customer identifiers, and webhook event information, but does not store your full card number. Billing disputes, refunds, and tax handling may require communication with the payment provider.

Data Storage and Retention

Workspace data may be stored while your account remains active so you can access profiles, generation history, quota status, and social settings. Logs are retained for debugging, security, abuse prevention, and legal compliance for a reasonable period. We may delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed, when an account is closed, or when retention is required to be limited by law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including server-side handling of secret API keys, authenticated API routes for account features, rate limiting, structured logging for incident review, and database access controls. No internet service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding your personal information. Children

ViralHook is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to ViralHook, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

International Use

ViralHook may be operated through providers located in different countries. By using the service, you understand that information may be processed outside your country of residence, subject to applicable law and provider safeguards.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ViralHook adds features, providers, regions, or subscription options. The updated date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the service after changes means the updated policy applies.
